The EV4EU General Assembly meetings are held every 6 months to assess the progress of the project, discuss ongoing activities and plan the next actions. The second EV4EU General Assembly meeting took place on 10-11th January 2023, at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Slovenia.
This was a hybrid event attended by the participant partners of the EV4EU consortium (Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores: Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Lisboa (INESC-ID), EDP Centre for New Energy Technologies (EDP NEW), Smart Energy lab (SEL), Technical University of Denmark (DTU), University of Ljubljana (UL), Elektro Celje, ABB inzeniring, Public Power Corporation (PPC), The Azores Directorate for Energy (DRE), Bornholms Energi & Forsyning (BEOF), Electricidade dos Açores (EDA), Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO), Gen-I, Circle Consult, Citroën Hellas and Campus Bornholm).
The first day of the meeting was focused on ongoing tasks, featuring presentations by the task leaders. Currently, in month 8, EV4EU has 21 active tasks, one task already completed, two scientific articles already published, three deliverables submitted, and several participations in dissemination events. Throughout the day our partners ABB showcased a V2G charging station and Gen-i provided some sustainable and delicious treats. The day came to a close with a delightful dinner, in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
The second day of the meeting was dedicated to the demonstration activities. The EV4EU strategies and solutions will be tested on demonstrators installed in the four European countries of the consortium: Denmark, Greece, Portugal, and Slovenia, where different use cases will be tested. During parallel sessions, the partners involved in each demonstration site discussed the use cases and planned the next steps. The program ended with a technical visit to Elektroinštitut Milan Vidmar (EIMV), where the participants had the opportunity to visit their facilities and exchange ideas and experiences about European projects.
The EV4EU coordination team thanks the University of Ljubljana partners for organising such a productive and successful event, all the participant partners for their engagement and dedication to the project and is looking forward to the next EV4EU gathering in Denmark.
