EV4EU project at JEEC 2024  

The EV4EU project was part of the JEEC 2024 – Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Seminar Series, held from February 19th to 23rd at the Técnico Innovation Center in Lisbon. The five-day event, organized by Instituto Superior Técnico master’s degree students, is a meeting platform focused on bridging the gap between companies and University.  

The EV4EU project was represented at the event on February 23rd by researchers Cindy P. Guzman and Larissa Montefusco, who were at the INESC ID Info Stand to actively engage with visitors, sharing an overview of the project and disclose the Horizon Europe project latest developments.  

To support the project’s presence at the event, the EV4EU team prepared an overview video, serving as platform to showcase the EV4EU work and exhibited two posters: “Project EV4EU Clustering Applications in Electric Mobility” I Authors: Marcelo Forte, Cindy P. Guzman, Hugo Morais and “V2X Integration in Self-Consumption Energy Management” I Authors: Samuel Matias, João Mateus, Manuel Pereira, Tarcísio Silva, António Furtado, Charalampos Ziras, Mattia Marinelli, Luiz Dias , Rafael Rodrigues, Hugo Morais.

JEEC is a yearly event organized since 2001 by master’s degree students in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, involving more than 55 companies, from the most diverse areas, ranging from consultancy to renewable energies. Throughout the five days, the event hosted project presentations, panel discussions, exhibitions, and workshops counting on the participation of companies such as BNP Paribas, NOS, Deloitte or Capgemini Engineering, among many others.
