On April 9 and 10, the EV4EU Project was at the BRIDGE General Assembly in Brussels to present and share the project most recent achievements related with new business models and the identification of regulatory barriers.
EV4EU was represented onsite by Hugo Morais, the project Coordinator at INESC-ID, who presented the new methodologies that are being adopted under the project related with business models, data management, regulation, and user engagement.
Also attending online were EV4EU team members, João Abreu from EDP New and Matej Zajc from the University of Ljubljana.
The Bridge GA is a great forum for networking, idea exchange, and interaction among peers and stakeholders involved in BRIDGE projects, across the broader energy sector community. Throughout the event the EV4EU Coordinator was able to engage in fruitful discussions with other projects, namely DriVe2X, a Horizon 2020 project, also focused on the development of new knowledge, tools, models, and technologies to cope with a V2X-based mass EV deployment in the future.
“The Bridge GA was a great opportunity to discuss and exchange new ideas and share knowledge between projects funded by the European Union. The discussion on Electric mobility is crucial to combat climate change and we must keep investing in electric mobility solutions to reduce carbon emissions and global warming. Under the EV$EU project we are committed in building new strategies to boost the use of electric vehicles for a more sustainable mobility.”
The BRIDGE initiative includes four ongoing Working Groups (Data Management, Business Model, Regulation, and Customer Engagement), with the responsibility of producing reports and crafting suggestions for the European Commission on diverse topics related to the energy sector’s future.
