EV4EU highlighted in Enlit Europe latest Podcast

In May 2024, the EV4EU project featured in  Enlit Europe’s “EU Energy Projects Podcast”, a platform to share the latest developments of European Projects in the Energy sector.

The podcast focuses on the challenges and opportunities surrounding EV adoption across Europe, pointing out the work being developed under the EV4EU project.

The conversation counted on the participation of consortium partners from Smart Energy LAB, Rui Martins, Sónia Sampaio and Diogo Brito, who spoke about the significant contribution of the EV4EU project in shaping Europe’s Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure. The Smart Energy LAB is leading a work package focused on understanding the key factors influencing V2X integration in smart cities and societal adoption across Europe.

Focusing on the major transformation that the European transportation sector is facing, the podcast discusses the importance of electric vehicles in Europe’s race to meet emissions targets. The interviewer explores throughout the conversation the learnings and future goals of the EV4EU project, namely findings on consumer behavior, EV infrastructure needs, technology, data sharing and EU policy and regulatory landscape.
