EV4EU researchers in Stanford’s World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking

EV4EU researchers Hugo Morais and former project researcher Alberto Rodrigues da Silva, both from INESC-ID and Instituto Superior Técnico, have been ranked among the world’s leading scientists, according to the 2024 edition of “Stanford World’s Top 2% Scientists”.

The American ranking is based on citation metrics extracted from Elsevier’s Scopus database, with data updated until the end of 2023 and has two distinct lists: Single-Year 2023 Performance and Career-Long Performance, and Hugo Morais features on both lists.

In this year’s edition Hugo Morais, EV4EU coordinator at the Portuguese R&D Institute INESC-ID and an Associate Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, featured on both lists .

Alberto Rodrigues da Silva, a full Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DEI), Instituto Superior Técnico and researcher at INESC-ID featured in the Career ranking.  Since 2023, he has been serving as the Portuguese Secretary of State for Modernisation and Digitalisation.
