EV4EU Coordinator at INESC ID, Hugo Morais, was part of a discussion on the future of Electrical Mobility promoted by IEEE Seção Minas Gerais, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) section based in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The event celebrated the “Power energy Society Day” (PES Day 2024), organized by the PES Chapters of the IEEE Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora Student Branch and the Professional Section of IEEE Minas Gerais in Brazil.
In addition to EV4EU project coordinator Hugo Morais, the event counted on Madson Cortes de Almeida, Associated Professor at Universidade Estadual de Campinas and coordinator of the University Living Lab for Electric Mobility in the Public Transportation System.
Currently the two research groups in Portugal and Brazil are collaborating under several projects, to strengthen partnerships in the field of electric mobility and power systems planning and operation.
