The EV4EU project and the V2X Cluster participated in the 38th International Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS38) held from June 15–18, 2025, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

On June 17th, Hugo Morais (INESC-ID) presented the EV4EU project with the poster titled: “Company Energy Management System for Optimising EV Charging: Integration of V2V Technology and Real-Time Control” co-authored by Cindy P. Gúzman, Larissa Montefusco, Toni Garcês, João Pedro Tavares, Herbert Amezquita, Oluwapelumi Egunjobi, Diogo Brito, and Hugo Morais.
EV4EU also co-organized the Special Session “DSOs Challenges and Opportunities: E-Mobility, Flexibility and the Road Ahead”, represented by researcher Kristian Sevdari from consortium partner DTU Wind and Energy Systems. The session began with an overview of the participating DSOs and the regions they serve, followed by a discussion on the process of installing EV charging infrastructure. The panel discussion offered valuable insights into the current state and future of charging infrastructure, and how they support installations through web tools and capacity maps.

At the event, the V2X Cluster was also represented at a shared booth in the Exhibition Area, offering attendees the opportunity to explore the progress and collaborative efforts among the participating projects. Initially composed of five Horizon Europe sister projects – SCALE project, Drive 2 X project, FLOW project and the XL Connect project – the Cluster recently welcomed three new members: AHEAD, Neverflat, and ePowerMove.
EVS38 provided an excellent platform for representatives from each project to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and showcase the latest innovations in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies.

Organised by WEVA, the EVS series has evolved since 1969 from a scientific forum into the premier global event connecting researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders in the field of electric mobility.
