EV4EU Researchers Among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford 2025 Ranking)

EV4EU researchers have once more been listed among the world’s leading scientists, according to the 2025 edition of “Stanford World’s Top 2% Scientists”.  The ranking includes two researchers from the Portuguese R&D Institute INESC ID: Hugo Morais, the project coordinator, and  Alberto Rodrigues da Silva.

The American ranking is based on citation metrics extracted from Elsevier’s Scopus database, with data updated as of December 2024. It comprises two distinct lists: Single-Year 2024 Performance and Career-Long Performance.

This year, the EV4EU Project had two researchers featured:

In the Career ranking:

  • Alberto Rodrigues da Silva, a Full Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DEI) at Instituto Superior Técnico and a researcher at INESC-ID, was featured for his career achievements.

In both the Single-Year and Career rankings:

  • Hugo Morais is a senior researcher and EV4EU coordinator at the Portuguese R&D Institute INESC-ID, and an Associate Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon.

Congratulations to both. You can check the full list here or search for a researcher by name here.
