On September 26, as every year on the last Friday of September, researchers from all over Europe left their labs and offices to meet local communities in science events taking place across the continent.
This year, EV4EU joined the celebrations of European Researchers’ Night at the Marina de Oeiras, participating in the INESC-ID stand alongside other initiatives, including the Energy Transition Alliance (ATE) — a key pillar of Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) — iProlepsis (Human Lab), and Engenharia para Todos.
At the event, researchers from INESC-ID’s Sustainable Power Systems (SPS) Group — Marcelo Braço Forte and Guilherme Pereira — shared their work in the fields of electric mobility and energy transition, with a special focus on the EV4EU and ATE projects.

Throughout the evening, EV4EU attracted visitors to the booth by challenging them to answer an interactive quiz on electric mobility. The activity raised curiosity about the role of electric mobility in energy transition and encouraged questions from both adults and children.
Once again, the European Researchers’ Night proved to be a fantastic opportunity to bring science closer to citizens. EV4EU was once again thrilled to raise awareness of the role of electric mobility in the energy transition and to share the work being carried out under the project.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, and we hope to see you next year!
