On April 14 and 15, the Center for Energy Sustainability from the University of Salford (Manchester, UK) will host a two-day symposium to accelerate the deployment of smart charging and V2X solutions.
The event is designed to strengthen collaboration between UK and European initiatives, bringing together Horizon Europe and Innovate UK projects alongside regulators, network operators, and industry leaders.
Through a series of interactive sessions, participants will explore technical standards, grid integration, market development, and consumer trust. As a key part of this ecosystem, the V2X Cluster will be represented on-site, with EV4EU represented by its coordinator, Hugo Morais (INESC-ID).
By transforming pilot results into market-ready strategies, the forum’s goal is to produce evidence-based deployment guidance, UK–EU alignment priorities, and a joint white paper to scale V2X solutions across Europe.
