EV4EU returns to Enlit Europe to showcase the project latest solutions

This year’s edition of Enlit Europe brought the EV4EU project team to Bilbao, Spain, between November 18 and 20. After a successful debut in Milan last year, the team returned to one of Europe’s leading energy events to present the project’s progress and emerging solutions as it enters its final phase ahead of completion in May 2026.

Enlit Europe 2025 gathered more than 15,000 energy professionals, ready to explore innovative approaches to today’s and future energy challenges. Event visitors had the chance to discover cutting-edge projects and companies that are developing technologies and products transforming the way energy is generated, distributed, and consumed.

Throughout the three-day event, EV4EU was featured at the INESC ID booth in the European Projects Zone – an ideal setting for engaging with visitors and connecting with other initiatives supported by the European Commission.

EV4EU was represented onsite by Ana Rita Nunes and Pedro Costa from INESC ID, sharing the project’s mission, results, and upcoming steps with visitors. On the event’s opening day, they were joined by Ilias Manitaris, researcher at HEDNO, who highlighted the organisation’s contribution to the Greek Demonstrator.

EV4EU also took part in the session “Smart Cities: From Buildings to Neighbourhoods and Transportation”, which showcased smart solutions driving improved energy efficiency. Participating projects included Chronicle, WeForming, BilbOPS, ALRIGH2t, GIANTS, and BuildOn.

“It was great to participate in Enlit for the second year in a row, diving deep into energy innovation and building new connections. Above all, it was a pleasure to represent the EV4EU project during a very interesting session that showcased several projects/activities aimed at enhancing energy efficiency in cities. EV4EU project has been developing a range of strategies, tools, solutions that will have an impact on more sustainable and smart cities.”
Rita Nunes, INESC ID

EV4EU’s participation at Enlit Europe 2025 was once again a chance to present the project’s achievements and reach a broader audience. The team presented key advances and solutions developed in the project, and above all, used the event to network and lay the groundwork for future collaboration opportunities.

With less than six months remaining, the consortium is focused on delivering all remaining results and is fully committed to achieving the final set of milestones.
